Experience

Hubbard has extensive knowledge and experience in providing carrier services to a diverse customer base.  We have extensive experience transporting waste for several U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) prime contractors and their subcontractors.  This includes work completed on the DOE Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR) and at the Fernald Plant in Ross, Ohio as well as Piketon, Ohio.

Hubbard is well versed in transporting various types of materials such as: non-hazardous material, hazardous material, hazardous waste, construction/demolition debris, concrete, logs and brush.  The Hubbard Team is also experienced in dirt and earth works from site preparations to levee work.

Provided dirt services, transportation and levy reconstruction.  Excavating and hauling of approximately 3 million yards of clay for the reconstruction of levies in New Orleans, LA.  – Conveyed over 50,000 loads of fill material for P 24 levy, 41,000 for the P 14 levy, and 6,000 for the P 19 levy reconstruction in New Orleans

Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC (BJC)

Hauled over 800,000 yards of fill material to various environmental restoration sites within the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and transported material for recycle and/or disposal to the Environmental Management Waste Management Facility (EMWMF) and the Y-12 Landfill. Provided dirt, topsoil, transportation and Q/A support for the Melton Valley Cap located in Oak Ridge Tennessee.

MACTEC, Inc.

Provided dirt, topsoil and transportation services for the SWSA 4 Cap located in Oak Ridge Tennessee. Hauled approximately 4,000 loads of waste from various sites within the ORR (East Tennessee Technology Park [ETTP], ORNL, etc.) for disposal at the EMWMF, as well as, over 400,000 yards of clean dirt and top soil.  (Contract Duration: 2002 – 2004)

Visionary Solutions, LLC

Provided transportation services and equipment for the hauling and disposal of UF6, class 7, PCB and mixed waste for disposal at the Clive and NTS disposal facility.

Transport UF6 cylinders to Portsmouth, Ohio.  Also, transporting waste from the Fernald Facility to various disposal sites.  (Contract Duration: 2004 – 2006)

2004-2007

British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL)

Transported over 40 million pounds of low-level radioactive contaminated concrete, 4,000 yards of legacy waste, and 4,000 yards of controlled material (Uniform Controlled Nuclear Information - UCNI) for disposal at the EMWMF. 

2002 – 2004

DEMCO, Inc.

Transferred non-regulated demolition debris to the Y-12 Landfill for disposal. 

2002 – 2003

Eagle Construction, Inc.

Shipped over 3,000 loads of low-level radioactive material to the EMWMF for disposal, as well as over 4,000 loads of non-regulated material to the Y-12 Landfill for disposal.
